Introducing Callaway’s New Paradym Drivers

Just when people may have thought they had Callaway all figured out, the company shifts gears and releases something completely different.

With the new Paradym drivers—the Paradym, Paradym X, and Paradym Triple Diamond—the company says they’ve made a complete shift in performance with a design that breaks the trade-off between distance and forgiveness.

“What a lot of people were expecting to see was a fourth generation of Epic, but we wanted to do something new and different across the entire family of drivers,” said Callaway Golf’s Senior Global Director of Product Creation, Dave Neville. “With Paradym, it’s a total shift in construction and something we’ve never done—break the trade-off between distance and forgiveness.”

Neville says the Paradym drivers are an industry-first 360-degree carbon chassis, which allows weight savings to be repositioned for higher Moment of Intertia (MOI) and increased forgiveness. He also says the company’s A.I. systems enhance stability, increase ball speed and optimize downrange dispersion.

“The big story is around our 360-degree carbon chassis with a couple different carbons coming together to form the club, which is 44% lighter than an all-titanium chassis,” Neville said. “As for the face, we’re calling it the world’s most advanced driver face.”

The Paradym, Paradym X and Paradym Triple Diamond drivers come in multiple loft options in both right and left hand.

Paradym Driver Details

The Triaxial Carbon crown and Forged Carbon sole is 44% lighter than a titanium chassis, giving the driver a higher MOI and increased forgiveness. The new A.I. designed Jailbreak system provides stability in both the horizontal and torsional direction, while the all-new A.I. face optimization enhances speed, launch and spin, and now downrange dispersion.

Paradym is the first driver to utilize Callaway’s industry-leading face cup technology, pairing the face cup with a powerful, forged titanium face, a combination providing higher energy transfer to the ball than a standard driver face insert. The driver head features a 15-gram sliding weight, where players can experience an average of 12-yards of shot shape correction.

Who is it for?

If you’re after a driver that is both long and straight that comes in a package that was shaped by a lot of advanced learning technology, this is for you.

Paradym X Driver Details

Like the Pardadym, the X Driver features the industry-first 360-degree carbon chassis, new Jailbreak A.I., and the world’s most advanced driver face, but it is also built for a high launch with high MOI, along with a stretched profile at address.

Who is it for?

If you’re a golfer who is after maximum forgiveness and potentially tends to slice the ball, this is your driver.

Paradym Triple Diamond

The Paradym Triple Diamond has many of the same features as the two other drivers in the Paradym family, like the 360-degree carbon chassis, the world’s most advanced face and new Jailbreak A.I. The main difference here though is the Triple Diamond version is a compact, 450cc shape head with a 12-gram back weight that can be positioned in the front for lower spin and more workability.

Who is it for?

If you’re a strong player with a lot of swing speed, but tends to lose yardage because of spin, this is a great option that will turn weak cuts into fast missiles.
