Scotty Cameron has reimagined one of his most iconic Button Back designs to create three new models called Champions Choice.
Scotty Cameron is the leader when it comes to premium putters and no brand is more recognized or beloved. Scotty is releasing a line of limited-run Champions Choice putters to celebrate the winning success of its designs throughout the past two-plus decades.
The Champions Choice putters come in three models: Newport Button Back, Newport 2 Button Back, and Flowback 5.5 Button Back. The whole lot highlights a milled 303 stainless steel body and modern vibration dampening technology. Every one of the Champions Choice models contains a precision milled Teryllium insert outlines into the 303 stainless steel putter head; this continues to be refined upon using recent milling and manufacturing techniques. The Flowback 5.5 also includes a 6061 aircraft aluminum sole plate to transfer weight to the outside of the putter head for more stability and forgiveness.
Each of the new putters has heel-toe weighting, featuring Tungsten weights in the Newport and Newport 2 head shapes, and steel weights in the Flowback 5.5 model.
Scotty’s new Champions Choice putters have red-white-and-blue paintfill around the screws in the back cavity, and there’s matching “winner’s stripes” that wrap around the face into the sole. Each model is finished with the company’s silver misting process, which produces a glare-resistant sheen, and they have black-painted sight lines.
Each of the putters comes with a limited-edition Button Back headcover in a red, white, blue color scheme and Cameron’s “Pistolini” grip.
