Key technologies
PWRSHELL H.O.T. FACE insert
Using titanium, Cobra engineers were able to save discretionary weight while the PWR-BRIDGE technology is a key part of these designs. Found in all three versions of the fairway woods, this is a key in the performance of each model.
Multi-material
A lightweight carbon crown also functions to save weight in the upper portion of the clubhead. In the LS model, the center of gravity is 3.2mm lower to the ground than in the previous model, while in the MAX version delivers the fastest ball speed using low and forward weighting and a carbon crown that helps lower the CG for higher launching conditions.
Adjustable
All three versions offer adjustability, allowing each fairway wood to be fine-tuned to your specific swing.
Models
DARKSPEED LS Fairway
Using titanium in the body and in the PWRSHELL H.O.T. FACE insert, the LS model is a missile launcher from the tee or the fairway. Moving the CG forward promotes incredible ball speed and distance, while the adjustable weighting system with two 15g weights in the front and a single 3g weight in the back allow you to dial in trajectory and spin.
DARKSPEED X Fairway
A balanced fairway wood with great forgiveness and distance, the X version offers an 8-gram weight in the rear for higher launch conditions, while the carbon crown removes weight from the upper portion of the clubhead, promoting a lower center of gravity.
DARKSPEED MAX Fairway
Featuring an adjustable weight system that allows the fairway to offer great forgiveness when the weight is in a back position, PWR-BRIDGE weighting and PWRSHELL H.O.T. FACE Technology deliver the fastest ball speed possible using low and forward weighting and an optimized variable thickness face design, while a carbon crown helps lower the CG location for higher launch.
DARKSPEED hybrids
DARKSPEED hybrids use Cobra’s PWR-BRIDGE weighting and PWRSHELL H.O.T. FACE Technology to find the right mix of speed and forgiveness. Also available in a ONE Length version to complement the ONE Length irons, this will also slip into the DARKSPEED Iron set for those seeking a hybrid option as opposed to a long iron.
