Iron precision. Hybrid distance. The latest from Cobra offers the best of both worlds. The T-Rail Launch, which is available for pre-order October 25, consists of a set composed entirely of hybrids, offering the forgiveness of the Cobra Baffler with the precision of an iron.
Features & Benefits
Hybrid shape
Hybrids have long been popular with mid-handicap and higher golfers because they make it easier for the average player to get the ball in the air, which can challenge some, especially when they’re playing long irons. By creating a hybrid-shaped iron, and moving the center of gravity low and deep, Cobra has created an iron set that is more forgiving, helps on off-center hits, as well as making it easier to get the ball in the air.
Baffler Rails
A key in Cobra’s legendary hybrids, the company brings Baffler Rails to their irons. The result is terrific turf interaction.
Forged steel face
How do you make game improvement irons feel great on the strike? By using high-strength, forged steel for the face, with Cobra’s E9 tech, which offers a thin pocket across the face to enhance ball speeds.
Who are they for?
Tom Olsavsky, Cobra’s vice-president of research and development, says it is clear who T-RAIL is aimed at: “They make it easy for beginners and golfers who have lost some distance and control to gain the confidence needed to play better and have more fun,” he says. Aimed at older, mid-to-high handicaps, the T-RAIL will find a home in the bag of golfers who aren’t put off by something a bit out of the ordinary that will help improve their games.
Pre-order Cobra T-Rail beginning October 25, available November 1.
