It’s hard to improve upon the world’s best-selling fairway woods, however Callaway believes it has with the new 2023 Paradym fairway woods.
Coming in three different heads—Paradym, Paradym X, and Paradym Triple Diamond—and several loft options, Callaway’s Senior Global Director of Products Dave Neville says they’ve taken their category-best fairway woods to another level this year.
“When you already have the world’s best-selling fairway woods, it’s hard to top that,” Neville said. “But we truly believe with the new Paradym family of fairways we’ve done just that—improved a product that’s already the world’s best-selling.”
The question is how? How did Callaway make the Paradym fairway woods better? Neville says it’s all in the construction.
“With the Pardaym fairway woods, we have a completely new construction,” he said. “We eliminated weight from the body and repositioned it elsewhere for unprecedented gains in speed and MOI.”
Let’s take a deeper dive into each of the Paradym, Pardym X and Paradym Triple Diamond fairway woods.
Pardadym Fairway Wood details
The Paradym fairway wood benefits from the A.I. designed Jailbreak Batwing technology that not only stiffens the body of the club, but also causes the face to flex for higher ball speeds. A.I. also played a part in optimizing the face for speed, launch, and spin. A 23-gram tungsten weight pushes the center of gravity (CG) low and forward for distance gains, while a forged carbon sole also maximizes distance.
Who is it for?
Fitting most players who want a high-launching fairway wood with a neutral ball flight.
Paradym X Fairway Wood details
Like the Paradym, the X features A.I. designed Jailbreak technology, a forged carbon sole, low CG thanks to the 25-gram tungsten weight, and a new A.I. designed face. However, the biggest difference between the two models is the Paradym X is built with a more upright lie angle and neutral face at address. The X model also features the most forgiving shape of the Paradym family of fairway woods, which results in it being the highest launching with a draw bias flight.
Who is it for?
If you’re a golfer looking for a forgiving fairway wood that launches high with a draw-bias ball flight, the Paradym X is for you.
Paradym Triple Diamond details
The Paradym Triple Diamond is designed with a deeper face and compact, player-preferred shape. The Triaxial Carbon crown aids in creating a low and forward CG, producing a penetrating ball flight with low spin. The club also features A.I. designed Jailbreak technology, a forged carbon sole, low CG thanks to the 21-gram tungsten weight, and a new A.I. designed face.
Who is it for?
Players who prefer a compact head, deep face, low spin, and a penetrating ball flight are best suited for the Paradym Triple Diamond fairway wood.
