It’s no secret that two-time NBA MVP Stephen Curry loves golf. The Golden State Warrior has played in Web.com events in the past, and earlier this year he produced “Holey Moley” – a mini putt golf show that aired on ABC.
Next week he’ll tee it up in the Safeway Open Pro-Am, being paired with Phil Mickelson. In preparation for the day, Curry posted a video of his calf workout, seeking advice from Phil, who arguably has the best calves on the PGA Tour.
Hey @PhilMickelson, am I doing these right? #CalvesLikeAdonis pic.twitter.com/Q88FUeWncM

Mickelson gave the three-time NBA Champion a sub-par score for his technique, but did offer a one-on-one training session.
Hmm, almost @Stephencurry30. It’s a very technical move, best if I show you in person. I’ll be in Napa next week if you really want #CalvesLikeAdonis https://t.co/93uHBH3qDJ

Game on says Curry.
Training camp isn't for 2 weeks…..I'm in! Calf raises and 18 at the @SafewayOpen in Napa?🙏🏽

But why stop at the calves. Gotta tighten that core too if you want to shoot bombs down the fairway.
Absolutely! Don’t forget about the core strength. Key for hitting 💣💣💣!

Curry already knows a thing or two about dropping bombs.
You mean like these 💣💣💣? pic.twitter.com/r8TaIUhzaT

Point proven. Calves it is.
Ok, we’ll just focus on the calves then … see you on the 25th at the @SafewayOpen!
