Last year, Brooke Henderson took the LPGA Tour by storm, winning twice and rising as high as third in the Rolex Rankings. To be sure, it was an amazing season for the Smiths Falls, Ont. product, as she became just the third Canadian to win a major championship.
Now, Henderson is a part of the Golf Town family, signing an agreement with us that was announced at the PGA Merchandise Show.
Henderson will become Golf Town’s ambassador, carrying the familiar logo on her golf bag, making in-store appearances and reaching out regularly to fans on social media.
“I’m so excited to be able to partner with Golf Town and act as an ambassador for them both on and off the course.”
The 19-year-old, who started her LPGA Tour season last week in the Bahamas, has a great history with the brand:
“Growing up, my family would always stop at Golf Town stores all around the country to pick up golf gear when I played in junior tournaments, so it will be really fun to head back there as a professional. We have some great customer events and in-store visits planned and I’m very thankful for the partnership!”
Henderson also hopes her partnership with Golf Town will further allow her to encourage young Canadians to take up golf and to help those already playing the game to possibly follow in her footsteps. It’s the first time Golf Town has had a relationship with a golfer, and we couldn’t be happier to have Brooke on our team.
It would be an appropriate move for Golf Town to initiate a professional clothing programme for Brooke Henderson. She is a beautiful young women that needs an immediate wardrobe boost. She has her shoe contract so let’s get her into some sharper outfits.
