COVID-19 regulations for golf courses will vary by province

Courses in British Columbia, Alberta, Manitoba, New Brunswick, Prince Edward Island, and ranges in Nova Scotia, are open, while Newfoundland, Saskatchewan are coming on soon. Quebec and Ontario courses are preparing to open.

Generally, courses are either removing flagsticks or using raised cups for the hole. Rakes, ball washers and water dispensers, along with benches, have been removed, and golfers, for the most part, are being asked to ride solo in carts, unless they are from the same household. Increased cleaning is occurring at bathrooms and in areas that see significant traffic.

Each province will have its own unique protocols required for open golf courses. Below is a breakdown by province as of May 14, 2020. This page will be updated as provincial guidelines are lifted or added.
