A name synonymous with world-renowned craftsmanship and club forging, Mizuno is once again utilizing their industry prowess, this time in the M.CRAFT putter line, delivering three new models for 2021—M.CRAFT IV, V and VI.
But don’t be fooled by the use of Roman numerals, these putters are anything but relics of ancient times. Built using the latest in precision forging methods to provide golfers with putter options that feel downright extraordinary—a feature of every club Mizuno puts to market—M.CRAFT has established itself as one of the industry’s finest examples of skilled metalwork.
The key to M.CRAFT’s success can be found in its velvety responsiveness, made possible by the 1025 mild carbon steel Mizuno uses throughout the line, which helps generate that desirable powdery “click” sound the ball makes off the face. To take it one step further in providing golfers with the precision and consistency they require on the greens, M.CRAFT putters are CNC Milled, leading to improved performance on every stroke.
M.CRAFT IV
A half-mallet hybrid go-between with a square back, the IV model comes in an increasingly popular head shape with a slightly slanted neck. At 355 grams, the IV head is heavy by design, helping facilitate that grandfather clock pendulum stroke players aspire to replicate on the greens. You can also adjust the overall weight considerably with its interchangeable weighting kit, tailoring the putter to your preferred setup or to specific green speeds.
M.CRAFT V
A compact mallet, the V model is perfect for players whose natural stroke path has a bit more arch to it. If you’re pulling your putts consistently, you might want to try something with a little less toe-hang—this model gets the face back to square at impact in a hurry. M.CRAFT V also comes with weighting options for personalized adjustability.
M.CRAFT VI
A mallet as we all know them to be, M.CRAFT VI is the big brother of the trio, coming in a classic shape at a beefy 371 grams. But just like IV and V, the VI model can be weighted according to preference. If you’re a mallet-style fan, you’ll appreciate the classic design of this newcomer.
Finishing Touches
When you purchase one of the new M.CRAFT’s, you’ll have a choice of three beautiful finishes: classic white satin, blue ION and black ION, meaning your putter will look as good as it performs.
