2021 DEMO EVENT SNEAK PEEK: IRONS

If you’ve been looking to upgrade your iron set, our Demo Event is the perfect opportunity to get some of this year’s top models from golf’s biggest brands, for less. We have moved this year’s demo event online and it kicks off Thursday, November 4th, at 12:00 pm (noon) ET. This year we have Canada’s largest assortment of demo clubs available and it is your best chance to get some of the latest and greatest clubs golf has to offer that have been gently used with some big savings attached.

Here’s a look at some of the hottest iron sets that you will want to consider at Golf Town’s Online Only Demo Event.

Callaway APEX 21 IRONS

An iron that features Flash Face Cup to generate high balls speeds and spin robustness across the clubface, a Tungsten Energy Core is incorporated to allow exact positioning of center of gravity. That means you’ll get the launch you expect from a player’s iron.

Callaway bills these as a “players distance iron.” With a fully forged body created out of 1025 mild carbon steel, and the shaping and aesthetic one expects from a forged iron, this is a club that will appeal to low and mid-handicaps alike.

Cobra RADSPEED

COBRA’s RADSPEED irons differ from their predecessor, SPEEDZONE, in a variety of ways but most noticeably with their sleeker profile and more rounded trailing edge. To lighten the iron, COBRA partnered with Hewlett-Packard to create a 3D-printed medallion at the back of the clubhead, providing engineers with more options to optimize newfound discretionary weight.

In fact, RADSPEED irons are the first to employ this type of 3D printing in golf, another first for a company that hangs around the cutting edge of club manufacturing technology. But the 3D medallion doesn’t just weigh less, it also dampens unwanted vibration at impact and gives endless opportunity to experiment with unlimited shapes and designs will become a new frontier for the industry.

TaylorMade SIM Max

Building on the tremendous success of last year’s models, TaylorMade didn’t need to reinvent the wheel. Instead, they aimed to leverage their tried and tested technologies in a pursuit to make both irons better versions of themselves.

The SIM2 MAX is designed to benefit those in the mid to high-handicap range. It’s not a super game-improvement, lending itself to a leaner profile, but still has enough real estate on the face to help the average weekend warrior.

What is a Demo Club?

The clubs available in our Demo Event have been previously used by another player. This may have been outside or in an indoor simulator. Each demo club has been cleaned and inspected by a Golf Town expert before being shipped to certify that it will perform like new!
