Although Tiger Woods didn’t make too many returns to the golf course this season, there will be a huge return by Tiger Woods later this year – in the video game world, that is.
PGA TOUR 2K23 Deluxe Edition and PGA TOUR 2K23 Tiger Woods Edition will be released on Oct. 11th, 2022 followed by the PGA TOUR 2K23 Standard Edition on Oct. 14th. Woods will be the cover athlete and will be an in-game pro along with an Executive Director advising the game development team.
There will be more than 14 male and female pros at the game’s launch! Such big names included in the game are Golf Town Athlete Brooke Henderson, along with fellow LPGA Tour stars Lexi Thompson and Lydia Ko. PGA Tour superstars like Justin Thomas, Collin Morikawa, and Tony Finau are amongst the playable characters in the game.
A special add-on bonus also allows people to play as Michael Jordan!
Gamers can tee it up as one of the pros or go head-to-head as they try to claim the FedExCup in the PGA TOUR MyCAREER mode.
Rich Beem, Luke Elvy (who calls Canada home), and Henni Koyack rounds out the professional broadcasting team.
Twenty courses will be included at launch, including Toronto’s St. George’s Golf and Country Club.
Of note, HB Studios, the developer of the game, are based in Canada as well.

MyPLAYER personalization returns for 2K23, which allows golfers to equip their digital players with gear from Nike, TaylorMade, Bridgestone – just like Tiger! – or Callaway, FootJoy, PUMA, Titleist, TravisMathew, Mizuno, Scotty Cameron, Wilson, and more.
The iconic analog swing stick is making its return, along with a three-click swing option for an added level of customization with your digital swing.
There are plenty of fun modes for first-timers to get into the game, while veteran gamers can take advantage of some new challenges. Topgolf will also be introduced in 2K23.
PGA Tour 2K23 will be available for Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, PlayStation5, PlayStation4, and Steam.
