Golf Town Athlete Brooke Henderson has been lucky to have the support of her mom, Darlene, for her entire golfing career. Darlene Henderson is easy to spot at LPGA Tour events – always boasting the biggest of smiles as she watches both her girls live out the dream of playing on the LPGA Tour.
Mother’s Day is absolutely a special time for the Henderson clan and it’s special for us at Golf Town, too!
“I’m so grateful for my mother’s love and support and she’s always been there for me,” says Brooke. “She’s one of my best friends and it’s so cool that she’s been there my whole golf career and I can always count on her.”
We have plenty of great deals available this Mother’s Day no matter what your mom might be into on the golf course or off.
Whether she’s always in the mix to win her Club Championship, in need of some fresh kicks, looking to add a couple of fashion-forward items to her closet, or even if she’s one of the thousands of new golfers who are looking to get a little more serious about the game in 2022, know that Golf Town has it all.
Brooke says when she’s competing week-in and week-out on the LPGA Tour she often sees children outside the ropes with their own moms and she says it’s so cool to see how kids and moms are sharing the game of golf.
“It’s just really special to have that connection,” says Brooke.
It’s always great to see a special connection between a mother and child, and if you’re looking to give the gift of golf to your own mother in 2022, be sure to check out everything Golf Town has to offer – no matter what kind of golfer she may be.
There is no LPGA Tour event on Mother’s Day this year. Look for Brooke to tee it up at the Cognizant Founder’s Cup May 12-15 in New Jersey before she plays her next event on the LPGA Tour schedule – the U.S. Women’s Open!
i AM A CANADIAN AND BROOKE HENDERSON IS A GREAT GOLFER BUT MORE IMPORTANTLY A GREAT PERSON. CONSTRUCTIVE CRITICISM!!! I believe she needs to make some changes going forward. Around the green and on the green she needs to improve the most. Her father Dave a golfer himself is her teacher. She needs to think outside the box!! I see her plateauing and not improving. A different approach – pro. caddy may help her going forward!!
Brooks distance is of little help if she can’t get short irons closer to the pin. Therefore her putting becomes stressful.
She needs to practice chipping and putting. She is too in concistant.
Brooke, I luv ya but I’m going to suggest two names you should contact, Dave Pelz and Dave Stockton and maybe a third, Brad Faxton..
Still think you are a breath of fresh in Canadian golf.
